    Reviews

3 days/2 nights: In the morning of day 1 you will be collected by the bus of the company which will bring you to office of Kencana. There you will the others of you tours and can pay the outstanding balance for you payment.

After that you will drive two hours through Lombok to get to the harbor. Shortly beforehand, you will do a small stopover made in which one has the opportunity to stock up on snacks, you will get a lunch as well. After that its time to board the boat. When all is set up, it is time to got because you will want to reach a small island not far away for sundown. After about 1.5h to 2h you will reach the small island and you will have the chance to climb a small hill to admire the sunset even better. Meanwhile the dinner will be prepared on the boat. After dinner you will set sails again because you will reach Satonda Island early in the morning. Just a short walk from the beach of Satonda Icland you will find a lake which feels more like a bath tub as it is so warm. If you had enough of floating around in the lake you can go back to the beach and do some snorkeling. Around noon you will be called back on the boat and will set sails again after lunch. That will also be ypir longest time on the boat as you will be sailing all day and night, and only stop for a short time during dinner. On the morning of the 3rd day you will visit Komodo Island. The group is guided by a number of rangers which can tell all kind of different things about the island and animals living on the island. If you are lucky enough you will also sport several Komdo dragons. After Komodo Island the boat will proceed directly to the Pink Beach, which, however, is only slightly pink from close up but seems pinker from the distance, so no worries, you will get a picture with a pink beach. At noon you will board the boat again and sail towards Flores where you will reach Labuan Bajo in the afternoon.

Overall, it must be said that the crew was very nice and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always prepared fresh and always varied (from Pancakes, over banana bread to rice plus fresh fruit). Throughout the day you had access to tea and coffee and the beverages, you had to order beforehand.

However, I would have liked a detailed introduction about the boat when we started our tour and also during the day Id like to have had a plan wha will be ging on today. Moreover, during the indonesian winter it can get very cold and windy during the night so be advised to bring long sleeves or sleeping bags or something similar. I would have liked to have more stops, but I've heard that on the return trip ( 6 days and 5 nights) there will be more stops. o my recommendation would be, if you get seasick easily, to do the tour but from Flores to Lombok.
